The program has a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All its functional elements are situated on the application’s main window. To change a volume serial number just select any on available drives and input a new number. After that you should restart computer to make the changes take effect. The program also shows you current serial number of each drive that can be easily saved into a text file by a single button click. From the main window you can also check for any available updates for this software using the Internet connection. Volume Serial Number Editor seems to have serious lack of functionality. The program is shareware. Its trial version doesn’t allow getting new software updates. |
